Bonding
Bonding is a technique that uses a tooth colored filling material when crowns or onlays are not yet needed. It is also a material that is used to secure veneers to the tooth surface as well as strengthening a tooth to support a crown.
Bridges
A fixed non-removable bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth that bridge the gap where one or more teeth are missing. The bridge is made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials.
Crowns
If a tooth is beyond repair with a bonded filling material because of fracture or decay, a full cap or crown is needed. Depending on the individual situation, there are choices of materials to use. Options include porcelain fused to a semi-precious metal or gold to all porcelain. Crowns are also made to go over one or more implants.
